Bahrain’s 2025-26 Racing Season Begins Friday
The season runs through to 17 April 2026 and features 29 race meetings, including a combination of twilight and night fixtures under floodlights, which proved highly popular following their introduction last year.
Over the summer, the Club has continued to invest in its facilities and infrastructure, with a new internal road layout, enhanced parking access, and refurbishments across the grandstand to improve the overall race day experience.
This season also sees new digital fan engagement initiatives, including the launch of Bahrain Fantasy Horseracing and the return of Select 6, both aimed at bringing racegoers closer to the action and enhancing customer experience throughout the season.
The racing programme continues to strengthen in both quality and international reach. The Bahrain International Trophy returns on 14 November, as the country’s international showpiece, followed by the Crown Prince’s Cup, newly promoted to Group 3 status, and The King’s Cup, also run at Group 3 level. The Bahrain Turf Series again forms the spine of Bahrain’s international racing calendar.
Racegoers can look forward to an enhanced on-course offering with an expanded Turf Village featuring family and retail activations, and the launch of The Garden hospitality area in November, which will provide a new premium setting for guests.
